Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) providers will need to recertify their active direct data entry (DDE) user IDs on an annual basis as an extra security requirement. Failure to comply with the WPS request will result in suspension of the provider’s user ids.
WPS will start mailing letters, along with the DDE user recertification forms, the week of January 18, 2010. The business office staff will need to respond to the request in a timely manner to avoid deactivation of their user IDs. The due date for the form will be indicated in the letter sent to providers.
